As a charity we rely on the support of our Patrons to deliver incredible experiences and to make our events, education and community programmes accessible to all.

If you want to enjoy a world of different experiences, including VIP access during our festivals, become a Patron and make your festival experience more memorable than ever before.

You will receive all of the same benefits as our Members, plus:

  • A three-month subscription to Hay Festival Book Club
  • A signed copy (wherever possible) of the Hay Festival Book of the Year
  • Monthly newsletters with previews into upcoming Hay Festival events
  • Two Hay Festival Anytime subscriptions that can be shared with friends or family
  • Three days of priority booking for all Hay Festival events including Hay Festival Hay-on-Wye earlybird tickets, main programme and Winter Weekend tickets
  • Access to the Patrons and Benefactors Hub - a private space for supporters to relax between events, with a concierge desk service and cloakroom facilities
  • Access for you and one guest to the Artists' Restaurant to mix with Festival artists and speakers (food and beverages to be paid on account separately)
  • Two complimentary tickets to the Closing Night Event and pre-event hospitality

Gift Aid Declaration

To support the Foundation, you may wish to Gift Aid any donation made today or in the future, and any donation you may have made in the past four years to the Hay Festival Foundation. A minimum payment of £500 secures all benefits*, and you may purchase these benefits separately without making any further donation. The balance of £500 is a suggested donation to the Hay Festival Foundation and gift aid can be claimed on this amount to support the Foundation’s programmes.
