Democracy and citizen challenges

The historian Carmen McEvoy (Peru) will talk to three experts about democracy and the challenges of citizen participation, analysing problems of access, knowledge and education, issues which hinder the development of these processes in different parts of the world. The guests will be the economist Álvaro Henzler (Peru); the philosopher Daniel Innerarity (Spain), an international authority on the matter of democracy and the author of the recently published book La libertad democrática; and the specialist in the analysis of public policy Jorge Mori (Peru). Both Henzler and Mori form a part of the Dialogues For Peru project, which consists of travelling to eight different parts of the country in order to deal with some of these matters.
