Karolina Ramqvist is one of the most influential writers and feminist activists of her generation in Sweden. She has written novels that have been acclaimed around the world for their powerful capacity to pose pressing questions, rather than offer clear and easy answers. She has tackled such themes as sexuality, commercialization, isolation and belonging in ways that are ever more weighted and yet still unresolved. At this event, she will speak with Francesca Denegri about her most recent novel, The White City, a thriller about a woman who has to confront changes in her body, her surroundings and in her way of life.
