Film Screening: Asham – A Man Called Hope

Against the backdrop of a turbulent Cairo that is about to undergo changes, the film focuses on six stories about interconnected couples. All the couples focus on their ambitions, frustrations and hopes, and they are all linked at important stages in their lives via a street vendor called Asham (which means ‘hope’ in Arabic).
