The writer María Dueñas, talks to Ana Gavín about her latest novel La Templanza and begins a reading from the book. A group of Segovian cultural figures and journalists then read extracts from the novel: the Mayoress of Segovia, Clara Luquero, the Territorial Delegate of Junta de Castilla y León, Francisco Javier López-Escobar Anguiano, the General Director for Cultural Politics of Junta de Castilla y León, Mar Sancho Sanz, Segovia’s Cultural Counsellor, Marifé Santiago, Aurelio Martín (EFE news agency), Teresa Sanz (Spanish daily El Mundo), Jesús García Calero (Spanish daily ABC), Marina Urbón (El País), Angélica Tanarro (regional daily El Norte de Castilla), César Gómez (CILTV local television), Alfredo Matesanz (Cadena Ser radio), Lucía Herranz (Segovia daily El Adelantado), Luis García Méndez (director of the Biblioteca Pública de Segovia), Blanca García (Asociación de Libreros).
After the reading, there will be a Q&A session with representatives of reading clubs both from Segovia and from online platforms.Sign language interpretation will be provided at this event.
