Directed by Dominik Graf, 2014. 1788. Charlotte von Lengefeld decides to travel back from Weimar to her home town to give her unhappily-married sister a surprise. The film is set during the French Revolution, and eighteenth-century German cultural icons appear in the film, including dramatist and poet Friedrich Schiller, publisher Johann Friedrich Cotta, and writer Johann Wolfgang von Goethe.
