Laszlo Baan, Sou Fuyimoto and Martha Thorne

One of the world’s first public parks, Városliget (City Park) is in Budapest. For over 150 years the park and its institutions of culture have been a green oasis for relaxation, entertainment and recreation. After a couple of decades of decline, the Liget Budapest Project is renovating it. As part of the cultural development, Sou Fujimoto’s piece of art, the House of Hungarian Music will be housed there. How will this development renew the area and the cultural life of the capital?
