Pedro FAVARON
Academic researcher, poet, writer, filmmaker and social communicator. He has a PhD in Literature from the University of Montreal. He has specialized in the study of Andean, Amazonian and North American indigenous peoples, developing a philosophical and ecological perspective based on ancestral knowledge and medicinal ceremonies. He has a Master’s degree in Communication and Culture from the Social Science Faculty of the University of Buenos Aires. He published the book of literary criticism

. Since 1998 he has been researching the use of medicinal plants and the medical knowledge of different indigenous peoples in the Americas, particularly Peru and Canada.
