Piedad Bonnett (Colombia) is an acclaimed Colombian poet, dramatist, novelist and writer of memoir. Author of the award-winning De círculo y ceniza (1989), her work has been much translated and has won various awards, including the Colombian National Poetry Prize, in 1994; the Casa de América American Poetry Prize, in 2011; and the Generación del 27 Prize (Spain), in 2016. Outstanding in her bibliography are Lo que no tiene nombre (2013), recognised by Babelia as one of the best 100 books of the last 25 years, and her recent La mujer incierta, an autobiographical work.
