LOOK is a small but mighty charity that supports visually impaired (VI) children and young people to thrive. It was founded by the parents of Hay Festival speaker, the BBC’s International Editor, Jeremy Bowen, after his younger sister, Charlotte, began losing her sight at the age of seven. Charlotte is now CEO of the charity which offers its flagship peer mentoring programme, as well as a peer-led Parent Support Group, a VI-accessible holiday flat, and LOOKFest - an all-age, VI-accessible summer festival.
