The Spanish writer Manuel Vilas is the author of the publishing successes Ordesa (2018) and Alegría (2019), winner of the Planeta Prize, as well as several collections of poetry and essays. At this event he will present Los besos (2020), a novel about idealized, romantic love, of how in the middle of a universal crisis two human beings try to return to the biological homeland of eros. The author explores the place in which women and men find the deepest meaning in life, but also covering matters such as consumer society, politics and context, a theme present in all the author’s novels.
