José Luís Peixoto (Portugal), one of the best-known writers in Portuguese literature today, is the author of more than a dozen books that have been translated into over 25 languages. His work Autobiografia (2019) is a narrative work that challenges the boundaries between reality and fiction. In the 1990s, a young writer going through a terrible creative crisis meets one of the greatest literary figures of his time: José Saramago.
