This documentary tells the story of the abuses carried out by the communist regimes that ran Czechoslovakia between 1945 and 1989. In the words of Slovak journalist and writer Jana Juráňova: “Despite the illusion of equality, on the other side there was a reality of violence against those who did not agree with the majority. Today, many people believe things were better up until 1989. Thanks to this documentary, they will see how people really lived.”
