Dos décadas de inspiración:  Hay Festival Colombia presenta su programación 2025

Con más de 190 participantes, procedentes de 28 países, la nueva edición del Hay Festival en Colombia se celebrará con más de 184 eventos en Jericó, Medellín, Cartagena y Barranquilla.
Autores como Salman Rushdie, María Negroni, Jorge Ramos, Isabella Hammad, Colson Whitehead, Cristina Rivera Garza, Viet Thanh Nguyen, Yomi Adegoke, Leila Guerriero, Gioconda Belli, Juan Gómez-Jurado, Camila Sosa Villada, Colm Tóibín, Amitav Ghosh, Piedad Bonnett, Richard Ford, Mayra Santos-Febres, Justin Torres, Rachel Eliza Griffiths, María Dueñas, entre otros, participarán del Festival.
Sobre ciencia conversarán Rafael Yuste, Marcus du Sautoy, Jennifer Ackerman, Rodrigo Quirán Quiroga, Mariano Sigman, Thomas Hertog; y sobre historia y pensamiento, Susan Neiman, Peter Frankopan, Anne Applebaum, Álex Grijelmo, Nicola Lagioia, Diana Uribe, Natalie Haynes y John Sellars.
La música, siempre presente, se vivirá con el talento de Carlos Vives, Carlos López Puccio (Les Luthiers), Juan Carlos Coronel, Jorge Velosa y Bocafloja (México).
En este vigésimo aniversario, se contará con una serie de charlas que buscarán responder las 20 preguntas que nos debemos hacer para entender el presente e imaginar el futuro (seleccionadas entre sugerencias enviadas por el público).
Las conversaciones Sur a Norte también serán parte de la agenda, contribuyendo a equilibrar la representatividad de las voces del Sur global y sus narrativas, con el apoyo de Open Society Foundations. Así mismo, con el apoyo de Ford Foundation, la serie de charlas Malunga Red por la Justicia Global pondrá el foco en el racismo y la cultura.

Hay Festival has today announced the full programme for its 20th anniversary year in Colombia next year, with events in Jericó (24–26 January), Medellín (28–29 January), Cartagena de Indias (30 January–2 February), and Barranquilla (3 February).

Hay Festival Comunitario para infancias y adultos, llegando al Establecimiento Penitenciario de Arequipa y al Colegio de Alto Rendimiento COAR.

Lviv BookForum y Hay Festival Global presentan el programa híbrido gratuito del festival de este año, entre el 2 y el 6 de octubre de 2024

El programa completo ya está disponible en hayfestival.org/lviv-bookforum, donde también puede registrarse para seguir las transmisiones en vivo gratuitas. La literatura ucraniana llegará a una audiencia global de millones de personas gracias al programa presencial y digital del Lviv BookForum 2024. El festival se llevará a cabo de manera presencial en la ciudad de Lviv, y las actividades se transmitirán en streaming, con traducción al inglés y al español. El programa gira en torno al tema "El poder de la acción colectiva" y contará con la participación de más de 60 artistas, entre ellos los novelistas Salman Rushdie y Georgi Gospodinov; la poeta y cineasta Iryna Tsilyk; la ganadora del Premio Nobel de la Paz, Oleksandra Matviichuk; la escritora ganadora del Premio Pulitzer, Oksana Zabuzhko; la Poeta Nacional de Gales, Hanan Issa; el autor, comediante y locutor, Viv Groskop; David Remnick, del New Yorker; la reportera de AP, Vasilisa Stepanenko; el reportero Terrell Jermaine Starr; y el periodista de investigación, Oliver Bullough.

Hay Festival Global has been awarded $820,000 (£647,000) in grant funding from the Open Society Foundations to support two years of upcoming projects, including the South-to-South series and inaugural Hay Festival Forum in Germany.
