Frank Báez and Claudia Ulloa in conversation with Andrea Palet

Two of the 39 best Latin American writers are reunited on the stage to talk about their work in the writing trade. This year, Frank Báez (Dominican Republic) publishes the extended version of Págales tú a los psicoanalistas, a collection of short stories that won him a short story award at the 2006 International Book Fair in Santo Domingo. Claudia Ulloa (Peru) currently lives in Norway, where she did a Master’s in Spanish Language, and this year re-releases her short story collection Pajarito. These two voices in new Latin American literature can be heard in conversation with Andrea Palet.

Bogotá 39-2017 is the selection of the 39 best Latin American writers under 40. In 2016, Luciana Sousa, the Argentinean social communicator and journalist, published her first novel, Luro. Diego Zúñiga is a Chilean journalist and publisher, the author of two novels, Camanchaca (2009) and Racimo (2014), and a book of short stories called Niños héroes (2016). At this event, these two rising stars of the world of letters will talk to the Chilean publisher Andrea Palet.
