Born in Padua in 1974. A graduate in Modern Literature and a Doctor in History from Padua University. He has been a post-doctoral researcher at Madrid’s Complutense University and has taught degree courses and doctoral seminars at the universities of Padua and Venice as well as at the Complutense University. He has also taught on the Literature Master’s and the Modern Languages and Literatures degree course of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. He currently teaches at the Universidad del Claustro de Sor Juana. He has published monographs, book chapters, reviews and essays, mainly on 20th-century Italian and Spanish literature, contemporary history and the problematic nature of memory in today’s world. He has worked with the Revista de Occidente and the cultural supplement of the Spanish newspaper ABC. In 2015 he founded the Ai Trani publisher, with whom he has published six books.
