Catherine ECCLES

Catherine Eccles is a literary scout and the owner at Eccles Fisher Associates, one of the longest-standing scouting agencies in the UK that looks for the best in fiction and non fiction to be published in English, as well as in other major languages, on behalf of international publishing clients and a film & T.V. company. Her agency operates in a total of nineteen countries for a variety of clients such as Penguin Random House of Canada, Spain, Portugal and Germany; CITIC Press, in China; or Éditions Robert Laffont, among others. Previously, she was managing director of Granta, deputy managing director of Chatto & Windus, and also worked at Transworld and at the literary agency Aitken & Stone (now Aitken Alexander). She is currently a member of the council at the Eccles Centre.
