(Medellin, 1967) A Colombian photographer who studied in Antioquia University’s Social Communication programme. Since the 1990s, his photojournalism work has focused on expressing the Colombian armed conflict, which has won him the Simón Bolívar National Journalism Prize three times (2001, 2003 and 2005). His images have been exhibited internationally on numerous occasions. He is the co-author of the books Relatos e imágenes: El desplazamiento en Colombia (1997) and Desde la prisión: Realidades de las cárceles en Colombia (2009).
