Antonio Martínez Ron is a science journalist and writer. His work as an educator and popular scientist over the last 20 years has made him a major figure in Spanish-language science communication. He has worked with some of the most important press, radio and television media outlets and has received some of the most high-profile awards in his profession, such as the Ondas Award and the Concha García Campoy Prize. He is one of the founders of the Naukas platform and the successful podcast Catastrophe Ultraviolet and participated on two series of the Órbita Laika programme for TVE. In addition to directing two documentaries and writing a comic script, he is the author of the books Algo nuevo en los cielos, El ojo desnudo, ¿Qué ven los astronautas cuando cierran los ojos? and Papá, ¿dónde se enchufa el sol? (this last book translated into Italian and Chinese).
