Journalist. Founder of El Búho, which she has run since the year 2000 and, before that, the television channel TV UNSA. She is the author of different reports on cases of corruption and has suffered threats and legal persecution because of this. In 2014 she was nominated by the organization Reporters Without Borders as one of its 100 global Information Heroes. She won a National Journalism Prize in 2015 in the Regional Reporting category and in 2016 a Courage in Journalism Award given by the International Women’s Media Foundation, based in the USA. She is also a writer. She has a Master’s in Communication from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
