(Peru) Historian, writer and human rights activist. Brought up surrounded by the war between the Shining Path and the Peruvian State, he has recently published Los Rendidos: Sobre el don de perdonar (IEP, 2015) and Cada uno, un lugar de memoria (LUM, 2015). After the success of these two works he published a poetry book, Enemigo (Intermezzo Tropical, 2016). He was a member of the Institute of Peruvian Studies’ Memorial Group. His next book will be published briefly by FCE Peru and it is a witness account and an experimental essay about concepts such as "memory","disappearance", "dissolution", "remains", "contemplation", and, without doubt, "body" in the context of the many violences that have affected Peru during the internal conflict.
