(Lima, 1966) Writer. She studied Sociology at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and has a Master’s from the University of New York. She was a human rights observer for the joint UN and Organization of American States mission to Haiti. She has published El último capítulo (Banco Central de Reserva del Perú, 2001), Moby Dick en Cabo Blanco (Estruendomudo, 2009), El hombre que hablaba del cielo (Planeta, 2011; Short Novel Prize awarded by the Cámara Peruana del Libro) and La isla de Fushía (Alfaguara, 2016). Her last book, Mínima señal (FCE Peru) has been widely acclaimed by the critics.
