(Caracas, 1967) Poet, publisher and cultural manager. She has a degree in Arts from the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (UCAB, 1992), taking a Master’s in Venezuelan History from the same university. She was one of the founders of the Editorial Eclepsidra publishing house and has been the manager since its creation in 1994. Her work as an educator includes collaboration with centres such as the UCAB Escuela de Comunicación Social and the Instituto de Creatividad y Comunicación (ICREA). She is also a designer and has given a series of workshops called Coordinación Editorial: Cómo editar y publicar un libro, at the ICREA and the Fundación Herrera Luque. Her published work includes the non-fiction Cómo editar y publicar un libro. El dilema del autor (1st edition, 2013; 2nd edition, 2017) and El quejido trágico en Herrera Luque (1992); and the poetry books: Cuira (1st edition, 1997; 2nd edition, 1998), Magdalena en Ginebra (Mexico, 1997), Amentia (1999, Arístides Rojas Annual Poetry Prize given by the Contraloría General de la República), Mieles (2003), Mieles Poesía reunida (2005) and En el jardín de Kori (2015).
