Master’s degree in Discourse Analysis. He has directed the Fiction Workshop of the School of Literature at the National University of San Agustín for thirty years. He has published the book of short stories Diario del retorno, the anthology Veinte cuentos arequipeños, two manuals on storytelling techniques, one on the purpose and structure of essay-writing, and the theory and criticism books Contar un cuento and Cuentos dos veces contados. In 2018 he was on the jury of the National Literature Prize. He edits the virtual magazine Alto de la luna. He is currently a lecturer on the UNSA’s Master of Arts programme.
