(Lima, 1974) He has been publishing comics since 1994. He has published in a range of Peruvian and international magazines and been involved in comic-related events in Peru and other South American countries. He is the author of two books on the subject of the violations of human rights and crimes against humanity in the context of the internal conflict, Rupay (together with Alfredo Villar and Luis Rossell) and Barbarie (text and drawings), as well as Los años del terror, 50 preguntas sobre el Conflicto Armado en Peru, 1980-2000. He is also the author of Guerrilla en Paucartambo (text by Miguel Rubio) and Biopolítica para principiantes (text by Rubén Ríos) and created the comic strip Las increíbles aventuras del hombre que no se hacía dramas. He has been a guest at the comic festivals Viñetas con Altura 2009 (Bolivia), Viñetas Sueltas 2009 and 2010 (Argentina) and Entre Viñetas (Colombia) 2012, 2013 and 2014. He has also been a guest at the 2013 Miami Book Fair, Iowa University’s School of Creative Writing in 2014, the 2015 Lima Feria Internacional del Libro, the 2015 Festival de la Palabra in Buenos Aires and the 2016 Curitiba Comic Biennial.
