(Mexico City) is the author of the novel Feral, published by Sexto Piso in 2022, winner of the 2023 National Fine Arts Award and shortlisted for the 2023 Amazon First Novel Award. She is also the author of the book of short stories La memoria de las cosas (Sexto Piso, 2015), as well as the essay and poetry book ManyFiestas (Gato Negro, 2017), the poetry collections Leash Seeks Lost Bitch (Song Cave, 2016) and Controlled Decay (Akashic Books, 2008), and is co-author of Taller de Taquimecanografía (Tumbona, 2011). She is also the editor and author of Tsunami, Tsunami 2 and Tsunami 3 (Sexto Piso). She holds a PhD in Comparative Literature from the University of Southern California, a Master's degree in Creative Writing from the University of California, Riverside, and a Master's degree in Comparative Literature from the University of California, Irvine. She is editor and co-founder of the publishing collective Surplus Ediciones in Mexico and president of the jury of the Aura Estrada Prize for young writers. In 2017 she was selected for the Bogotá39 list as one of the 39 most promising writers in Latin America aged under 40.
