(Madrid, 1971) Spanish writer, thinker, journalist and politician who, since 2020, has been the Chair of the Higher Council of Sports. As a Member of Parliament (2011-2016) she received an award for Best New Member from the Association of Parliamentary Journalists (2012) and won the Salvador Soler Foundation Award as Member of the Year (2015). In 2016 she founded The Thinking Campus of practical philosophy, and ran it until 2018, when she was appointed Secretary of State for España Global. She has written a number of book-length essays, including Lenguas en Guerra (2005 Espasa Essay Prize) and El saqueo de la imaginación (2008), as well as the novel Si sufrir fuera sencillo. She is a member of the European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR).
