She studied Arab Philology and in 1992 founded Pontas Literary & Film Agency, a literary agency that represents authors from around the world on the international market. According to Publishersmarketplace.com, in 2014 Pontas was the fifth most important literary agency in the world ranking in terms of international contracts negotiated in the world of fiction. In 2013, the agency’s partners founded Pontas Films, a production company that has carried out adapted literary works for film and television. Rastros de sandal was its first feature film and it won the 2014 Montreal Film Festival Audience Prize. Soler-Pont is co-author, together with Asha Miró, of the novel of the same name (2007) and she wrote the film’s screenplay based on her own book (it was later nominated for a Goya Prize in 2015 for Best Adapted Screenplay).
