Diego MORENO

(Madrid, 1976) Holds a degree in Sociology and Market Research from the Complutense University in Madrid, and a Masters in Publishing from the University of Salamanca. Upon finishing university, he discovered that his real interest lay in the world of books. He started to work as a bookseller in the Crisol bookshop in Madrid, in order that he may later train as editor. From 2002 to 2004 he worked as head of production at Ediciones de la Torre, and at the same time, in 2003, he created his own small publishing line, Josef K. To get to know other areas of the book world, he worked from 2004 to 2006 as head of production at the digital publishing firm Novalia Electronic Ediciones in Xaragoza, before in 2006 he created Nordica Libros. To this date, Nordica Libros has published 160 titles, and has received several awards, including the National Prize for Best Editorial Work in 2008 and the I Jaime Salinas Prize for Good Publishing Practice in 2013. The publishing house has two very clear lines: Nordic literature (in 2011, an author published by Nordica received the Nobel Prize, Tomas Tranströmer), and illustrated books for adults.
