Leonora Djament graduated in Letters from the University of Buenos Aires. She speaks at various national and international conferences, and has published numerous articles about literary theory and criticism in both specialist and non-specialist magazines, as well as articles in books. She has published one book of essays, entitled La vacilación afortunada. H.A. Murena: un intelectual subversivo (Editorial Colihue, 2007), and has participated in and coordinated roundtables on literature and the world of publishing.
She has taught literary theory and analysis at the University of Buenos Aires since 1996, and has participated in various research projects within the department. She has worked within the publishing industry since early 1996, becoming the editor of essay publication at Alfaguara. From January 2000 until October of 2007 she was Publishing Director of Grupo Editorial Norma, and since November 2007 has been the Publishing Director of Eterna Cadencia.
