Miguel Brieva (Seville, 1974). Illustrator, writer and a bit of a musician. He made himself known after the self-edited publication of Dinero magazine. He has collaborated as an illustrator and cartoonist in media such as El País, La Vanguardia, El Jueves, Rolling Stone, Cinemanía, Ajoblanco, Interviú, El Salto o Mondo Brutto. Brieva is also the author of Bienvenido al mundo (2007), Dinero (2008), El otro mundo (2009), Memorias de la Tierra (2012), Lo que me está pasando (2016), La gran aventura humana (2017), and Obras incompletas de Marcz Doplacié (2012); as well as La Odisea Ilustrada (2019) together with Carmen Estrada. For children, he illustrated the children’s album Al final (2010), together with Silvia Nanclares, Manuela y los Cakirukos (2022), and Se busca un futuro posible en el que desear vivir: lecturas instantáneas para tiempos de premura y zozobra (2023). He is a member of the publishing board of Libros en acción and of the musical group Las buenas noches.
