(Quito, 1972) A Chilean illustrator, graphic artist and humourist born in Ecuador. He studied Art and Graphic Design and, since 2000, has been working as an independent illustrator for different publishers, advertising agencies and media in Ibero-America. Since 2006 he has been publishing a cartoon on his blog Dosis Diarias (www.dosisdiarias.com), which won the Best Blog in Spanish at the 2011 Deutsche Welle awards, and which has an average of over a hundred thousand visits each day. He has published nine books compiling his website’s cartoons in Chile, Argentina, Spain, Venezuela, Mexico and Colombia. He has illustrated around forty children’s books and runs a number of his own literary projects, including Recetas al pie de la letra, for which he was nominated for an Altazor award in the Graphic Design and Illustration category (2010). He contributes to Ecuador’s El Comercio and Chile’s El Mercurio newspapers. His latest published works are Eso, pescuezo (2015) and Achiote (2015). He currently tours Latin America together with his friend and colleague, Liniers, presenting their Illustrated Stand-up show.
