Poet, editor and literary critic, Luis del Mármol studied Psychology at the University of Buenos Aires. Outstanding volumes of his poetry include
Avicidio (1991),
Arpeggio, Música de piedra (2000) and
La Piedra (2002). He began his journey in the publishing world at the Gandhi Library in Buenos Aires, where he worked as head of Psychology, Philosophy and Poetry. In 2000, he opened his own library, the Mármol Library, and in 2007 he founded a publisher specializing in psychoanalysis and philosophy, Mármol-Izquierdo Editores. Currently, he is also directing the Biblioteca de Plata project, which originated at the Palacio de Minería International Book Fair in Mexico City: the project manages the distribution of independent Argentinian publications in Mexico.
