(Italy, 1970) Since 1994, Marco Cassini has been the manager of the Italian publishing company, minimum fax. Founded together with Daniele di Gennaro, the publishers originated as a literary magazine disseminated exclusively by fax. He is the author of
Carver (1997),
Beats and Bites (1996), a collection of interviews and essays on the beat generation, and, together with Martina Testa, of an anthology of
American authors entitled Burned Children of America (2001).
Diary of an Incorrigible Editor, his memoir about his publishing work, was published in Italy by Laterza in 2008, and translated into Spanish for Trama Editorial’s collection Tipos Móviles in 2011. He lectures on Editing on the Master’s program Editing and Journalism at the University of Rome, La Sapienza, and in 2009 he founded the annual editing course Il lavoro editoriale.
