Le Monde in Mexico. He has acted as a commentator on media outlets such as UNIVISION, CNN, NBC, Telemundo, Foro Interamericano, Lehrer NewsHour, CBC, Deutsche Welle, TV Azteca and TeleSur. His work has led to recognition and awards such as the National Journalism Prize (in-depth article) in 1987 and the Manuel Alonso Muñoz Medal (best social communicator) in 2005.
