(Colombia) This journalist and writer began working as a reporter for El Espectador in Bogota. He also worked as Head of Information at the newspaper El Heraldo in Barranquilla and as national news editor for RCN Radio. During the time of the bonanza marimbera marihuana rush on the Atlantic coast, he published his first novel, La mala hierba. A selection of his literary journalism published in the magazine Semana was anthologised in the book La nostalgia del alcatraz. His second novel, La balada de María Abdala, was published by the magazine Diners and the Editorial Planeta publishing house. He currently works as a full-time writer.
