(Spain) Bonilla has lived in Barcelona, Madrid, Rome, London and Seville. Although his bibliography is a long one, he says that in actual fact he has only written a single book of poems -divided into three volumes-, one of essays -divided into four volumes-, and one of short stories -divided into five volumes-, including El Estadio de Mármol (2005). He has also written the novels Yo soy, yo eres, yo es (1995), Nadie conoce a nadie (1996), adapted for cinema by the director Mateo Gil, The Nubian Prince (2003), which won him the Biblioteca Breve de Seix Barral Prize and Prohibido entrar sin pantalones, a novel that won the first Mario Vargas Llosa Biennial Novel Prize in 2014. He works as an editor for the magazine Zut.
