(Spain) Engaged in multiple and varied literary and journalistic activities and collaborates with the Spanish media. He is the author of works such as El camaleón sobre la alfombra, El árbol del bien y del mal or Así en La Habana como en el cielo. He is currently director of the Chair Vargas Llosa. In 2012 he received the Medalla de Oro of the city of Arequipa. He is a member of the Royal Academy of the Spanish American Science, Arts and Letters.
