Leonardo Padura (La Habana, 1955) Storyteller, fiction and screenwriter, essayist and journalist. Winner of the 2015 Princess of Asturias Literature Prize and the Cuban National Literature Prize. He has published over 20 books and his work has been translated into different languages. He became known internationally for his series of novels featuring the investigator Mario Conde, the Four Seasons tetralogy, adapted for film and television. He has been distinguished with honorary awards in Spain, Italy and France. His latests books are the volume of essays Agua por todas partes (2018), Como polvo en el viento (2020) and the novel Personas decentes (2022).
