Ingenious Pain (Sceptre 1997, James Tait Black Memorial Award) is being adapted to film. His bibliography also includes
Oxygen, (Sceptre 2002, finalist for the Booker and Whitbread Novel Awards) and his latest work,
Pure (Sceptre, 2011) which received the Costa Award.
