(Venezuela) A social communicator and creator of the magazine El librero, a free monthly publication dedicated to books, authors and other publishing matters, Dahbar is also one of the founders of the Grupo Editorial Cyngular. In 1989 he won the Hogueras Journalism Award for his book Sangre, Dioses, Mudanzas (Alfadil, 1990; Debate, 2003). In 2004 he published a book of non-fiction, Gente que necesita terapia (Mondadori). He is currently working on a third book of essays, Abecedario del mal, completing a cycle of short journalistic works that portray unusual occurrences from everyday life.
