Writer, television and radio presenter and producer. Gower is a producer with Boomerang and has been BBC Wales’ Arts and Media correspondent. He has also worked as public affairs officer for the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds and as a current affairs journalist for HTV. He was winner of the John Morgan Award for his book
An Island Called Smith, about a disappearing island in Chesapeake Bay. He has edited several volumes, as well as written a collection of short stories,
Big Fish. He is Hay Festival International Fellow.
