PhD in Literature from the University of Antioquia, Master’s in Latin American and Caribbean Literature from the University of the Atlantic, and a degree in Linguistics and Literature from the University of Cartagena. Poesía y conocimiento en la lírica colombiana; Cartografías de la imaginación and Héctor Rojas Herazo: el esplendor de la rebeldía. Co-author of the book Manuel Zapata Olivella. Hacia una medicina nacional en el Pacífico colombianos. Critical study and editing of La maraca embrujada por jibaná. He has been coordinator and co-editor of literary and testimonial collections of the National Library of Colombia, the Bank of the Republic, the Colombian Caribbean Observatory and the Truth Commission.
