Professor of History at the University of Panama, associate researcher at the Women's Institute of that institution and member of the National Research System of the National Secretariat of Science, Technology and Innovation of the Republic of Panama (SENACYT). She has published numerous books and scientific articles on the history of women in Panama and, especially, on the history of the suffragette movement and the conquest of political rights by Panamanian women.
