Beto ROSERO

Filmmaker, producer and curator. Member of the Global Climate Storyteller Network, Global Impact Producers and Berlinale Talents Buenos Aires 2022. He has taken part in prestigious laboratories around the world, such as TorinoFilmLab and ChileDoc. He has been an Assistant Director on several films, notably El Cuento de Antonia (IFF Rotterdam, 2017). Among his most outstanding productions are Causas Elevadas (RTVC, 2021), the documentary series El Placer de Escaparse del Mundo (TV, 2021) and Two-Spirit (The New Yorker, 2022), presented at more than 60 film festivals, including IDFA and Palm Springs. He also produced Bandera Roja (IDFA 2023) and Alma del Desierto (Giornate 2024), a film awarded with a Queer Lion award at the Venice Film Festival. He has been nominated for the IDA Documentary Awards and the 2022 Macondo Awards, and has been part of the curatorial team of the Cartagena de Indias International Film Festival (FICCI), the Cine a la Calle Short Film Festival and the Sima Awards.
