Rudy Amanda is an Anthropologist from the University of Cauca (2013). She has a master’s degree in Sociology from the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences – FLACSO, Ecuador (2016). She is the director of the Observatory Against Racism, University of the Andes – Colombia. Her research experience is based in Historical Anthropology, Black Marxisms, Critical Race and Ethnicity Theory, Historical Sociology, Social Movements and Collective Action, Black Feminism, Black Anticolonial Republicanism, and Anticolonial Theory. She is an independent researcher with experience in ethnographic fieldwork. She is the author of the book (in edition): Black Anticolonial Republicanism: Insurgent Historical Narratives on Racial Politics, Land, and Citizenship of Black/Afrodescendant People in Colombia.
