Born in Livingston, currently an Analyst on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples at the Secretariat of Indigenous Peoples of the Judicial Branch. Professor at the School of Judicial Studies of the Judicial Branch on issues related to the Identity and Human Rights of the Garifuna and Afro-descendant People, Multiculturalism, and the Rights of Indigenous Peoples. Lecturer on Indigenous Peoples, Afro-descendants in Guatemala, Racism and Discrimination, and Garifuna Culture at the national and international level. Candidate for Vice-Presidency of the Republic of Guatemala for the Broad Front, made up of the WINAQ Political Movement and the Guatemalan National Revolutionary Unity (URNG). National Coordinator of the Action Plan for the Safeguarding and Revitalization of the Garifuna Language, Music, and Dance of UNESCO. Deputy Director of Culture of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Professor at the Faculty of Legal and Social Sciences of the Mariano Gálvez University of Guatemala. Founder and president of the Guatemalan Black Organization, ONEGUA, an organization whose mission is to promote the integral development of the Garifuna people and Afro-descendants in Guatemala, 1995
