Winner of the Medellin Municipality 8th Round of Fellowships for Artistic and Cultural Creation, Children's Literature, Short Story category, in 2011; of the 10th (2007) and 13th (2010) Los Sueños de Luciano Pulgar Literature Competition, in the Metropolitan Short Story category; and finalist of the 1st El Barco de Vapor-Blaa Children's Literature Prize, 2008.
