Photographer trained at the Centro de la Imagen with a Master’s in History from the San Pablo Catholic University. She is a member of the Women Photograph international organization and has a specialization in Identification and Conservation of Photographic Procedures from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Her documentary project La Luz de la Picantería, was nominated by the Ministry of Culture to represent Peru at MICSUR 2016 in Bogota. She was one of the winners of the Latinas. Le monde Vu par les Femmes d’Amérique Latine competition for the exhibition in Paris 2022 by Fotógrafas LATAM. She is a lecturer in the Department of Humanities at the San Pablo Catholic University and the Communication Sciences course at La Salle University. She is currently the manager and director of the Digitalization and Cataloguing Project of the Vargas Hnos. Photographic Archive, a project subsidized by the British Library’s Endangered Archives Programme. Since 2017, she has been working on research, conservation and outreach projects on photographic collections from the southern Peruvian Andes, with experience in the Vargas Hnos, Glave-Alcázar de Arequipa, and Cisneros del Cusco archives.
