Colombe SCHNECK

schneck-colombe Colombe Schneck (France) was born in Paris in 1966 to a Jewish family marked by the traumas of the 20th century. She is a writer, journalist and documentary filmmaker with a long career that has brought her a number of major awards. Her work includes L'Increvable Monsieur Schneck (2006, Murat Prize), Sa petite chérie (2007), Val de Grâce (2008, Grand Prix de l'Héroïne Madame Figaro), Une femme célèbre (2010, Anna de Noailles Prize awarded by the French Academy), La Réparation (2012, Thyde Monnier Prize), Mai 67 (2014, Messardière Prize), Soeurs de miséricorde (2015), Les Guerres de mon père (2018, Marcel Pagnol Prize), and Mensonges au paradis (2023). Her Paris trilogy is set to be published in at least seven countries, and it will include the three iconic novellas Dix-sept ans, Deux petites bourgeoises and La tendreses du crawl, cementing the author’s international reputation, it is destined to become a classic of our time.
